Gabriela is the founder of Balance & Foster, an independent accounting/bookkeeping and tax firm specializing in helping small and medium-sized corporations.
Gabriela knows numbers don’t lie, but they are so easy to misrepresent; it takes more than one perspective to look at them to understand and see the whole picture. Accounting is the language of practical business life, and Gabriela speaks accounting, fluently.
After working as a financial analyst for a reputable Mergers & Acquisition company, Gabriela realized the experience acquired in key legal, business, human resources, and financial issues could serve a bigger purpose if used in the one-on-one setting of a small accounting firm.
Gabriela holds a degree in Cost Estimating & Accounting and is Quickbooks Certified. She is a strategic thinker and creative problem solver.
Gabriela wants to change the way people view accountants. She chose to name her firm Balance & Foster as she genuinely aims to not only help you balance your books but foster genuine partnerships and relationships built on mutual trust and respect.
Coming to Balance and Foster in 2021, Mary has brought 33 years of bookkeeping experience to help small and medium size businesses.
Mary spent 15 years in Windsor Ontario doing full cycle bookkeeping for small companies, moving with her clients “from ledger to computer”.
After moving to Niagara in 2003 Mary spent 18 years working in the Not-for-Profit sector and brings knowledge of charitable bookkeeping and charitable returns to Balance and Foster, going from “computer to virtual”.
